had a budget and great-sized room with large bathroom, a queen bed and a coffee, and i couldn't ask for more. the location was central, perfect in the town centre with plenty of restaurants nearby.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the location couldn't have been better. It is right in the heart of the town center, with plenty of restaurants and entertainment options just steps away. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The basic amenities provided in the rooms had a modernized feel, and I especially appreciated the great heater during my stay. Lastly, the complimentary continental breakfast was a nice touch, and the Nespresso machine in the room was a delightful surprise.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and there was nothing I could fault.

We absolutely loved staying at this place. The location couldn't have been better, right in the town centre with plenty of pubs, restaurants, and entertainment options nearby. We were delighted to find that it was just across the road from the theatre, making it extremely convenient for us to catch a show. The staff here were very friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the lounge room and courtyard areas where we could relax and chat with fellow guests. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a sitting area. we had a fantastic experience here and would highly recommend it to others.
In terms of improvements, the acting manager could have been more friendly in his manner. However, despite this minor drawback, the staff responded to our requests quickly and efficiently.

The historic building of Ansonia On Lydiard was absolutely beautiful. I stayed in a family room that was large and very comfortable. The towels were fluffy and the bathroom products were lovely. Despite facing the Main Street, the noise from traffic was minimal and I couldn't hear any noise from other rooms. I loved the charm and character of this accommodation.
Drawbacks: The pillows weren't great, but maybe I'm just too fussy. And unfortunately, there was no parking provided, which was a bit inconvenient.
